Goldfield Ranch Fire District History and Charter

The Goldfield Ranch Fire District was established in 2007 as a Special Taxing District under Arizona Revised Statutes, Title 48. Special Taxing Districts are established as political subdivisions of the state and are governed by an elected board. These districts are a type of local government that delivers specific public services with defined boundaries.

The District is responsible for:

1. Ensuring that residents and property owners have Fire and EMS services available in Goldfield Ranch

2. Facilitate water access to responding Fire organizations within Goldfield. GRFD currently leases a 3500 Gal water tender to FMYN FD to provide water for structure and wildland fire incidents.
